The impetus behind Noi.se was to create a magazine which resisted the banality and glibness of the 'glossies', and yet also resiled from the 'cool for cool's sake' ethos espoused by so many 'independent' publications, preferring instead to interpret Beauty, through an eclectic mix of fashion, culture and design.
