HEAVY DUTY magazine is a single brand, bi-monthly motorcycle magazine established in Melbourne in 1991. It is dedicated exclusively to HARLEY-DAVIDSON motorcycles and their owners, riders and enthusiasts.

HEAVY DUTY has established an enviable reputation for its wealth of technical expertise. The magazine currently has seven different models on our test fleet which cover the five major platforms manufactured by the Harley-Davidson factory.

All these bikes are owned by the magazine and staff. They are used to evaluate products as well as provide an ongoing analysis of the models themselves. The staff are actively involved in riding, racing, rebuilding and restoring H-Ds.

HEAVY DUTY is actively involved in the readers lifestyle as well. We sponsor custom bike shows and various readers rides throughout the year. The HEAVY DUTY ESCAPE is a week long ride, through three Australian states, held each February. The ESCAPE is a sell-out every year.

HEAVY DUTY attracts the mature, enthusiast rider. We do not indulge in the tits, tatts or gratuitous drug taking that other so-called "biker" magazines seem to find necessary. And our advertising reflects this.
