There are 40 million people of Scots descent scattered throughout the world.  We might now be Australian, American, Canadian, or European, a New Zealander or English, but we all share a common Scottish heritage and many of us are deeply proud of that heritage.  Our ancestors left Scotland for many reasons, but their vision and courage helped build the foundations of the nations we now call home.  We are the Scottish Diaspora, intensely proud of the rich heritage our ancestors bequeathed us.
