In 1999 Chillfactor launched into print, the now collectors first edition was aptly named "The resurrection of Skiing". And what a resurrection it's been. As traditional ski mags grappled with snowboarding, dedicated snowboarding publications were riding a wave of success along with the sport. Ski mags were pretty much dead in the water.

It was time for a dedicated skiing magazine, Chillfactor hit the spot covering the revolution right from it's inception.

While snowboarding and skiing are now good mates, publications are clearly and competitively separate. Just the way we like it.
